Scripted moment: Giving a warm welcome to a customer as they enter the store. Listening attentively, smiling naturally, and responded to their questions.
Some nods, hand gestures and a reassuring, confident spirit.
Scripted moment: You are in a couple who is considering buying a new mattress in a mattress store. You are calm and curious, speaking to the sales rep,
asking questions, nodding along. Then, show us some moments where you are testing the mattress. Sit down on a chair or couch and show us your best ‘wow’ face, as if the mattress is the most comfortable thing you ever felt. Keep it natural – subtle, naturalistic reactions are best.
Scripted moment: Please ensure the camera has a good clear shot of your face and eyes. For this reason, it is better to do at least one take where you ‘pretend’ to be laying down. Simply face the camera in a close up and imagine you are laying in an uncomfortable, hot bed. Your face is sweaty, the bed is hot, and it causes you to toss and turn uncomfortably. Feel free to try multiple options ranging from annoyance, discomfort, and varying levels of intensity.
Scripted moment: Please ensure the camera has a good clear shot of your face and eyes. For this reason, it is better to do at least one take where you ‘pretend’ to be laying down. Simply face the camera in a close up and imagine you are unable to sleep because of your partner, who is snoring loudly. You try to close your eyes but open them in annoyance, glaring at him and tossing and turning, trying to get comfortable. Feel free to try multiple options ranging from annoyance, discomfort, and varying levels of intensity.
Scripted moment: You are sound asleep, snoring loudly. Keep in mind we likely won’t record the sound – what is important is the visual expression of snoring. The snoring should be loud but not too exaggerated.

Simply face the camera in a close up and imagine you are sleeping. Your sleep is interupted by a strange sensation – the bed is so saggy that it is almost caving in on itself – as if you are being swallowed up by the bed and sheets because of it’s lack of support. You should show us the transition from sleeping more normally (albeit a bit uncomfortably) and then a mix of surprise and discomfort as you get subtly pulled into the bed.

Scripted moment: Please ensure the camera has a good clear shot of your face and eyes. For this reason, it is better to do at least one take where you ‘pretend’ to be laying down. Simply face the camera in a close up and imagine you are unable to sleep because of the movement in the bed – both your partner and your dog are moving around and making the whole bed wobble. You could start sleeping well, but then wake up as the bed moves. You try to get comfortable, but each time you do, the bed moves again (imaging the dog constantly finding a new position). It’s annoying and you can alternate between being frustrated and uncomfortable, and annoyed at them as you glare.
Scripted moment: You are sleeping, yet seem to constantly be finding a new position. You toss and turn, with your eyes closed.
Scripted moment: Please face the camera and speak warmly directly into the lens. You are a calm and reassuring presence. Script available on demand at castingvtb@gmail.com
